Walker for the House
West Virginia House of Delegates Dist. 31
My name is Carlos Walker. I was born and raised in Raleigh County. I'm a 1997 graduate of Liberty High School. I have been married to my lovely wife for 15 years. We have 2 children, ages 14 and 8. Our oldest child has special needs including autism, seizures, mentally impaired and mild spastic cerebral palsy. It is because of him I have grown to be a strong advocate for the special needs community.
I have always had an interest in politics. I decided to run for office because I grew tired of just talking about the issues and problems within this state. I decided the time for talk was over and it was time to run for office to help make the needed changes.
I am running for the West Virginia House of Delegates on the Libertarian ticket in District 31. A core principal of the Libertarian Party is the Non Aggression Principal, or NAP. What the NAP says is we will not initiate force or violence for personal or political gain. Another core principal is that of self-ownership. We believe an individual has the right to make decisions for their own lives and do what they want as long as they don't hurt others or violate their rights in the process.
I hope you will support me and help me win this election. I am available to speak with you on my views, beliefs and what I hope to accomplish once elected.
